It's not Win7 but Vista SP1. You must install SP2

Computer hasn't NOD, but AVG7. You must install the latest version of AVG.

can not install SP2. I think its because the C: has only 3gb left. I tried to delete files, but still no space is freed??!?!?!

Did you try to clean your disk with CCLeaner? Temp-Files? System Recovery? Hotfixes?
Which program could be removed?
Yes, I know such problem: SP-Installer must extract all the files to the disk an then begin the installation itself.
You coud ask by your friends or by any internet cafй - possibly they just have the disk with SP2 or will be so kind and allow you to download the ISO-Image and burn the installtion-DVD.

Oh, sorry, it seems I've look at IP any other user's But I suppose, in England that's not a problem too .

I downloaded a ISO of SP2. But it did not install even though I have 4.8Gb of space.
It said:

Error: E_FAIL(0x80004005).

I think some other program is not allowing it to install.

I have tried everything. And it still doesnt install. PLease find attached a Print screen of all the programs. please advise, as to which one is causing the problem. ;-)

If you bought the laptop with pre-installed Vista, it could be possible, that you will not be able to install WinXP.

I'm quite sure, ACER doesn't deliver his PC and laptops System-CD with. Normally it's a special recovery partition on HD. Be carefull!
