    Kaspersky internet security won't update and virus won't disappear despite running AVZ virus removal tool as instructed

    I have a second PC THAT APPEARS TO BE INFECTED AND PREVENTS ME FROM CONNNECTING TO THE INTERNET.

    aNY HELP WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED PLEASE

    you also have driver from old symantec.
    download & run their tool too http://service1.symantec.com/Support...05033108162039
    i will try remove their driver, but better is to make a standard cleanup.
    Please download (where you have an internet connection) from my signature ->special avz.
    unload kis, disconnect from internet/network
    execute this script:

    Do a new logs with special avz according our rules, attach them to new post.

    I have tried the solution and this has fiixed my issue.

    Managed to update KIS 2009 without any glitch, currently running a full system scan and resumed full internet connectivity.

    You are the real guru and a true gentleman.

    First of all, you should follow our instructions. I can't find your quarantine. It will help to some millions of users- it is our goal
    Please upload it, as i did told you, and make a new logs according to rules:http://virusinfo.info/showthread.php?t=9184

    Lord Drong, I made a mistake and did not save the log file. I will see if I can retrieve it somehow. Apologies as I was too excited once I managed to connect to the internet and update kIS2009.

    I shall let you know tomorrow.

    Once again sorry for beinmg too hasty in fixing the issue.
