Computer running v. slowly

After loading Kaspersky 2011 my machine started to run v. slowly. I tried to uninstall K 2011, but was only partially successful. When I tried to reinstall K 2011 this was blocked because of a possible infection. I was told to run avpyool2010 which I have done. What do I do now?
