lsass error

Hello, my computer displays a lsass error "When trying to update a password this return status indicated that the value provided as the current password is not correct." and reboots before I can login. The computer has more than one operating system (dual boot).

How can I remove the (sasser?) virus from the non-working system or repair it, if it is not a virus?
(Win XP home edition, can't remember the SP)
