Persistant Viruses
Hi,
I have a problem with one of our office PC. The virus I've identified so far is HUER.Trojan.Win32.Generic & Virus.Win32.Virut.ce. The Virus Removal Tool don't seem to remove the virus in Automatic Mode and therefore I'm resorting to the manual mode as this would be our 6th time scanning and removing them.
These viruses seem to disable the Task Manager, Command Prompt, Network Activities (especially Shared Data (svchost.exe)), Irragularities with Explorer and Unable to open ANY file from a Removable device.
As this PC contains valuable data, re-installations is a long process and I suspect that the Backup might also be infected. I would therefore like to first remove the viruses completely before either repairing or reinstalling Windows.
Thanks

Thanks, Rene-gad, I managed to remove the pesky viruses with a couple virus removal tools and 3 days of scanning data & backup of pc. Now the pc is good as new after a fresh reinstallation and antivirus with firewall protection for future attacks.
