I'm at the end of my tether!
I've reformatted countless times with genuine DVD's but all my settings are soon hijacked.
Even installing a linux distro causes me to lose root and no option to get the password.
Busybox is involved somewhere at boot time i think.

I'm formatting nearly every other day. The really scary part is that when i first realised i'd got some malware i really obsessed over it, trying to trace it back. This is when i was wireless, then ANYTHING that was digital and broadcasting got infected, my Mobile was reset with some WYSIWYG codes, my home cordless was reset with a message that said "I can't take your call at the moment and i will not get back to you!" My Digibox would constantly lock up and lose signal, who knows maybe i'm just linking coincidences together because they haven't actually done anything malicious to me YET.
I've read about people similar problems who've replaced HDD, MOBO's the works and they still have this virus sitting there. I'm thinking that either they've hacked my router (A well known security flaw in the UK with default Admin passwords and identical WEP+WAP keys hard coded into the firmware), DNS poisoning or they have boot/bios access and whenever i load a new OS linux/Win all i'm doing is loading an image over the top of their OS.

Here's my log anyway[/QUOTE]It's not a log anyway, it was quarantine (without files :), but it means - the suspicious file is OK and belongs to database of trusted files by AVZ), it should be uploaded, not attached. Pls. read the answers and the rules carefully!
