Problems with my computer are as follows:
[LIST][*]cannot start anti-virus programs (KIS 2009 won't run)[*]cannot do a system restore[*]cannot defrag[*]IE8 pulls up different pages than those I've selected.[/LIST]Prior to installing KIS 2009 ....no other anti-virus programs, clean registry.
Have gone through your procedures as outlined.

Have performed the script in AVZ as requested. After reboot started AVZ and went to "Standard Scripts" "Advanced System Analysis" and then uploaded the new virus info syscheck.zip for your review

[B]Aleksandra[/B], When I was in Safe Mode I signed in as Administrator and was able to perform a defrag.
Also performed a chkdsk/f
Rebooted Normal and was able to perform a system restore.
I can see nothing harmful in your logs. Do you have any problem more?

I'm glad to here that you found nothing unusual in the logs.
I will try to do another install of KIS 2009 and see if it will start up.
