I have installed Kaspersky 2009, and it picks up a unidentified virus on my Outlook.pst mail file, but is not able to treat it or quarantine it. Other anti virus scan/cure programs like Dr Web Cure It, and Kaspersky Virus Removal Tools do not pick it up. Please help. Lebs.

In such case are AVZ, HJT & other antirootkit-tools not helpfull at all.
FYI: Outlook.pst is a very large database with mixed informations. Not all AV-Programms could to find and remove any malicious item in it. I think, KIS has as an option a built-in PlugIn for Outlook.
Make you sure, it's installed.
Otherwise open your Inbox in Outlook, find and delete all suspicious mails completely - from trash, too. Make trash empty, check archive - in case the archivation is activate.
