Kaspersky won't run.

I can only work in safe mode. I did a clean install of XP PRO started doing updates, then I try to run anti-virus and I get the blue screen. Never the same screen always different. These said screens are what caused me to do a clean install to begin with. No kidding, at least ten or twelve a day. I have a WD500g hdd and a WD40g for music and pictures only. After the episodes began, I disconnected the 40 then since i wondered if something else could be causing this. I can surf w/o running scans the when when AntiVir said all was still well and it's acting goofy ( not to mention those stupid blue screens:furious3: )because things weren't running right, i decided to run Trend online. Guess what?? More blue screens half way through. Kaspersky ... same.Worried thatsomething would happen to my new drive I pulled out some old ones, reformatted, and started from scratch. Thought it could be memory but Memtest86 says no. No new hardware,software,etc. it took so long to load XP again (i probobaly shouldn't :(have) I loaded it on both new (old) drives, in case one didn,t take. I hope this make sense reading it back it dosen't to me, but i'd just like to check my e-mail with no interruptions. :rtfm:help please.

You have to install ServicePack 3 + app. 200 later patches + Internet Explorer 8. I hope it will be helpful :)
