Log file attached

I have been experiencing a number of issues over the past 48 hours. Started with the KIS 2007 application unable to connect to update virus database files. Then a Google redirect virus: when i search using google it produces the usual list of pages but the links go to paid advertising sites. I attempted to upgrade to KIS 2009 with no success; i removed KIS 2007 and installed 2009 -- the app goes through the install process but fails at the configure stage. I have used the KIS removal tool to remove KIS 2009 and re-install - no success. I ran the AVP tool and collected the log file (attached)... do you have any advice for me?

About avptool: did you run an automatic scan of all disks?
Close all other programs except avptool.

I did found traces of ParetoLogic antivirus- did you install it by yourself? Go to add/remove programs and uninstall it.
