multimedia breakdown and usb flash drive problem

1.cannot open windows media player for dvd although i have k-lite codec installed. it plays for 5-10seconds then stops and says " windows media player has stopped working "
2.cannot delete some files from usb flash drive especially dvd movie files "video ts.vob" after delete it just reappears.
3.kaspersky internet security 2009 says "unknown program is accessing files from usb flash drive" although i have done full computer scan
4.cannot safely remove usb flash drive although i have closed all the programs and folders
5.cyber link power dvd player runs for dvd but it takes so much time to start and its response is so slow
