To whom it may concern:
For some time now, I have noticed my newest home computer seems to run noticeably slower than some of my older ones, and seemed a bit slower accessing the Internet. We had DSL, but performing Internet speed tests always revealed significantly slower connection speeds than what was advertised by our provider. Last week, I decided to bite the bullet and change providers and give cable service a try. After getting our new cable modem, all computers in our home were significantly faster (about 15 times faster), but the one newest computer continued to connect at the same slow speed we observed with DSL. This morning, I tried to download the Kaspersky trial and attempted to install while running my computer in Safe mode. I received an error message that the install was unsuccessful, and a virus was suspected. I then downloaded the AVT tool - attached is the system file generated by running the Manual Disinfection option.
Sincerely,
Matt
