Win32:Malware-gen

Hi Folks,

I have the virus in my notebook and Avast is not able to remove it. I am trying Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, that generated the attached report.

I will appreciate any help on this issue.

I couldn't find any virus, but I saw a giant security hole in your system: Install Service Pack 3, follow updates and Internet Explorer 8

I am using Windows Vista Business and couldn't find a Service Pack 3 for it. The visus message above is being given by Avast from time to time. I will copy the complete message next time it appears and post it.

Ohh, I'm very sorry - it does not exist yet ..
Malware-Gen is a common name for unknown/suspicious files, detected per heuristics, it could be good possible, it's not really malware. In each case you may sent a file for detailed analysis to the vendor of your antivirus solution.
